Today, Dr. Bert and his wife, Diane, have six children. During his free time, he enjoys dog training and horse competitions. While completing his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Bert participated in the treatment of a number of children with spinal deformities and became interested in their treatment. He enjoys general orthopaedics, and has a special interest in spinal disorders which include adult patients with injuries due to their work.
